Moving to Italy, lots of questions!

Hello All,

My friend and I are moving to Italy in August (2010) from the US (Florida). We have been planning on taking a course in Florence to certify us to teach english abroad. Lately, we are second guessing if it would be worth the money. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

Also, I know that most of the work for Americans in Italy will most likely be illegal. Is it hard to find work? We both currently work at a high school here in the States, but are open to doing other jobs when we relocate. Anything from working at a restaurant to caring for children.

Our goal of relocation is to be re-inspired ! Any suggestions anyone may have would be greatly appreciated.

Grazie!

Mehgan
