I found its cheaper taking things into consdieration..medication, cheap rent, no gym memberships, more attention an hour from rome. currently i am living off of my savings. Im sad and inseucre though.
dating an italian and wondering if his familhy really likes me dating their son, he is the one who hit on me first. wondering if they think its cool that i am italian american. also im looking for a purpose here..yes laern the language yes continue seeing the guy i absolutely adore, but i need a job. thinking about doing tefl in rome courses. im really tired of paying out to the community and the community offering me nothing in return.
i was once offered a job to later find it was just some bull talking dirty old itailan man. I no longer eat his pizza. just all these issues. I dont want to be played for a fool and i want to become a real italian and not try to americanize anything casuse i come here only seeing things i want not changing it.
also let me add ive met wonderful italian friends. and if it wasnt for them id be totally so on a plane home. They have shown around they have me drove me picked me up in the snow and from the hospital. they have been gracious, make me laugh and smile. they have help me in so many ways. very nice people dont knwo if it is just the small town i live in. I feel more satisfied in that way here than in the states. people in america i dont see on ar egular basis by going downtown and always wonder where they are.
anyone ever been in a similar situation...also have an italian passport no legal problems just language problems.
