Hi everyone.
My fiance and I are moving to Alghero, Sardinia and we are wondering how easy it would be for me to find work. He has a job as a professional rugby player/coach for the Alghero rugby team so he is sorted. However, I am currently seeking either part or full-time work. I would consider anything.
By the time I arrive in Italy, I will be TEFL qualified (Teaching English Foreign Language) so teaching will definitely be an option.
I currently do not speak Italian but I have all intentions to learn as soon as I arrive. I am aware that not speaking Italian is not ideal, but I am still hopeful.
I have heard that possible job options would include:
- Nannying/Au Pair
- Teaching English to children/adults/businesses
- Work for international companies.
I look forward to hearing from anyone who might have advice, contacts or even job opportunities.
Cheers,
Sian :)
