Basic employment for a dual citizen

My wife is an Italian native, we have been together in the U.S. for almost 30 years. We will begin semi-retirement in Italy 2013. I'll be completing my citizenship documents before leaving. Her family has a vacant apartment ready for us and our living cost will be very low.

However, I am 10 years away from full retirement and would like to work part time in 2014. I'm considering Teaching English (ESL) to get started.

How difficult will basic employment be for a dual national who is not native to Italy? Assuming that I will be able to work legally, what other kind of obstacles can I expect?
