American family moving to Italy to be with her true family

Ciao everyone! I am hoping to get some realistic answers here! I am a New Jersey Gal and feel free to give it to me down and dirty, inside and out.

I have been an adventurer traveling the US since I was 16 yrs old trying to find myself as I am an only child. I finally got the chance to meet my family in September 2010 when I came out there to have my wedding. Meeing my family showed me that missing piece I have had my whole life and why I always felt like I did not belong here. Now No I am not Snooki from Jersey shore but I will say I am not too far from her hehehehe I just dont get in the trouble as she does.

My life desire is to move to italy and be with them to make up for all the lost time. I feel I have done it all here in the US and though I have much to show for it, I am ready to start a new life with my family. I will be going with my husband who works in the computer field and my 7 yr old son.

I know I will have family out there to help me learn the way of life out there. I just have many fears and concerns of course like anyone would have leaving everything they have known as life.

My 1st concern is finding the right school for my son. My family is in Bari and I would of course like to live not too far from them. I am having a tough time finding details on options for school. I see there is an international school in Monopoli. IA little farther than I would like to be (though it is closer than I am now). But any input on something that is located in the Bari vicinity would be greatly appreciated!

Then there is work for my husband. How rough a time will he had in the computer industry trying to find work and actually working out there?

Me.. I am an artist and already have something lined up but it will not be enough to survive everyday life.

I know one of my cousins out there gets paid every 3 months. How do people budget a lifestyle with that kind of schedule? I could not imagine. Are majority of pay schedules like this? Is this normal?

I will also be traveling with pets Dogs cats and Bird. any input or feed back advice on this will be helpful also. They are part of my family so I will not leave them behind.

I know this is not going t be a move that will happen over night. I have a ton more concerns but I will wait to see what kind of response I et with what I have above to start.

Tank you all and I cannot wait to come join your world! I have the utmost respect and joy thinking about how life is out there and this will be my dream come true!
