Work opportunities in/near Trento

I'm an American currently serving in the U.S. Army, and when I get out in 2014, I plan on trying to move to Italy to be with my fiance, who was born and raised in Trento. She's told me a little bit, but I was curious if anyone here has insight about the process of getting a job in Italy. I'm not looking for a career, I'd be happy gutting fish or working in a quarry, mill, factory.... something really simple, manual labor. Do foreigners even have a chance at getting hired on in jobs like these? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
