Looking for Home near coast and Rome

I will be moving to Italy (at least as often as visa permits) in 8 months and would like to find a medium size affordable town near the coast within 1-2 hours from Rome, preferably with an expat community.

In September 2013 I plan to visit Gaeta, Nettuno, Anzio and wherever??? Any suggestions where I might look or anything for me to check out while I'm visiting?
