Moving in 3-4 yrs to Frazzano,Sicily from USA...Advice?

My soon to be husband was born there and longs to go back permanently. His huge family and a home wait for us. Myself and my son will be going with him. I'm insanely excited but also worried about the adjustment. I know it's a much slower way of life and not at all technology driven. Which I actually look forward to because 7 years ago I moved from my slow small town Ohio to Phoenix, Arizona and have never really felt at home. I'm use to gardening, local farmers markets and bakers for food. But my son is now 5 and is all city boy. I'm worried about education and adjustment for him more then myself.
