whoops! hit enter by mistake

My previous post--looking for a place on the coast to rent--but I hit enter by mistake too soon. We would appreciate any input you can offer on finding a house or apartment, contacting realtors, etc. Is the best plan simply to show up at a realtor's office and ask for help?
We are looking for something furnished at/under 1000 euro/month if possible.
