Hello,
I am applying for my elective residence visa and plan on moving to Florence starting May 1, 2016. I am taking a 10 day trip to Florence in mid February and will be viewing furnished apartments for a 3-6 month (or longer) rental. A few people have recommended that I get a short term rental first, because the longer term rentals (one year or more) come on the market and are available immediately and it would be hard to secure this type of apartment in February for a May 1 move-in date. Of course, you have to prove you have a rental agreement for the residence visa application so I need to find something for at least 3 months to start. Does anyone have first hand experience and recommendation of an agency in Florence? I have a few agents I am communicating with now but would love to see if someone on this forum has a name to share.
Many thanks.
