Lucca suburbs

Hi! I'm looking into moving to Lucca next year with my husband and 2 very young children and I have no idea in which area to look for a rental property. Anybody know a general outline of which areas are more suited to young families, quiet residential, detached housing with parking for 2 cars, safe and close to city centre? Please let me know which areas to avoid! Thanks
