Grazie in anticipo!
Born American, I missed Italian citizenship through jure sanguinis by months as my Italian grandparents naturalized in Virginia only days before mom's birthday.
However, I have a complicated situation nevertheless. I am president and co-CEO of an American Water filtering Company and wish to headquarter my business for Europe in Milan. I will have a management team conducting the business domestically in the USA.
My fiance (Ana) I must bring from Luhansk (Ukraine) to Milan as we wish to marry in Italy (not in the USA). Ana's mother has been living and working in Verona since 2002.
I wish to buy a small villa between Milan and Como and have a family there.
How do I qualify to live in Milan beyond the 90 days? Can I bring Ana to Italy as an employee of TSWS, Inc. (my American company)?
If I am working with my company does a work permit allow me to stay past the 90 day limit?
A volte, lascio le cose nelle mani di Dio.
Ma questo è abbastanza complicato e capisco che Dio è molto occupato adesso.
