Moving to Trieste

Just wanted to say hi! I will be reading over other posts in the forum to get acquainted with it! My husband and I are moving to Trieste in August, he is a dual citizen, we are working on getting dual citizenship for our children and I will just be a resident. He was born in Trieste and moved to the US when he was 14 years old. We are so excited! We are travelling with just a few suitcases and will put the rest of our storage in the US and see how it goes. My 12 year old twins will go to an international school and my husband will take a leave of absence from work. We are taking kind of a "sabbatical" for two years so the children can learn Italian and experience the culture! Anyone else live in Trieste? We are going over in March for Spring break to start looking around for houses to rent. I am researching the best way to bring our dog over, has anyone used a pet mover service? He is 20 lbs. and too big to fly in the cabin with us!
