minor child

I was recognized as an Italian citizen via Italy's jure sanguinis program. I was residing in las vegas at the time and completed the process thru the Italian embassy in los angeles. I had a, then, minor son living with me and included him on my application for dual citizenship. I applied for, and received an Italian passport for myself at that time but not my son.

I have transferred my records to the new York ebbassy since I moved to Saratoga springs, ny 12866 a few years ago. my son has grown into adulthood during that period of time. was he granted citizenship with me since I included him on my paperwork? how can we confirm his status of citizenship ?
