Transferwise - ACH bank debit or wire transfer

For those of you who are using Transferwise to transfer money from a US bank to an Italian bank account, do you select the ACH bank debit or wire transfer method? It seems my bank charges a small fee for the domestic transfer ($15) but I don't think there is a fee for the ACH transfer. Is one advantageous over the other?
