• Buying a rustico in Liguria

Middle aged Italian lover Canadian who lives & works in Montreal/Canada seeking advice !

Although I have read many forums related to the same topic, I decided create my own and chit-chat with the ones who are following the same dream.

A bit of context:

- Unfortunately I do not speak Italian or know anyone who is Italian (in my bucket list)

- Looking for a vacation property in Liguria coast (my favourite so far) Cinque Terre villages, Volastra, Apricale etc. to be more specific.

- Not planning invest more than 50.000 Euros (includes renovations)

- in love with rusticos but trying to avoid major renovations knowing (esp. after reading about permits, bureaucracy, and pit falls)

Seeking help to find an honest local to give advice.
