Tax on money It to UK?

Hi. I have inherited some money from an Italian relative. It is well below the Italian tax threshold of 1million Euros. I don't live in Italy and don't envisage living there within the next 5 years. I need to get the money back to the UK and don't want to pay tax on it in the UK as I will in effect have paid the tax on it in Italy (It's zero tax but you get the point)
I have dual nationality Italy/UK but for tax purposes I am UK resident, though I do have an AIRE number in Italy. Any thoughts ?
