It's always been my dream to own a place in Italy, the land of my grandparents. My husband and I would like to buy or rent in a small city, with good healthcare, transportation, culture, nightlife, etc. I also must be able to travel regularly to Málaga, Spain, where my sister lives. I was thinking of Bergamo in Lombardy, which is close to Milan, or somewhere in Puglia, like Lecce. I speak a little Italian and am applying for citizenship with Italy, based on heritage. Thanks for any comments/advice!
