Hello,
My husband recently acquired his Italian citizenship. I am looking to retire from teaching within the next year or two so that we can move to Italy permanently.
We have been looking at houses (online) in the Piemonte region--I like the proximity to the mountains & sea, plus being close to a few larger cities
with France right next door is very appealing.
I am wondering about the cost of living in that area. I know it's a large region--we would like to be in a smaller-mid-sized town/village. I was under the impression that the northern part of the country was generally more expensive, though we're seeing some very affordable properties.
Any information you could share is greatly appreciated!
