A fashionable crowd to buy my wares...?

Hi All,

I'm on holiday this June in Lecce, Puglia. I am wondering if there would be a good consumer market in this area where I could make a future living designing and selling my hand made womenswear and home furnishings?
For this to work I would need to be near a bustling town and have a pretty much constant flow of tourists or interested locals. I understand that 'off season months' would be quieter.
I am half Italian on my father's side so hope to obtain nationalisation without too much hassle.
I'm hoping to live in a quiet town with locals surrounding me but with the ability to reach people via a short car/vespa journey.

Thanks to anyone with advice/info

:)
