ER Visa application question

My wife and I are preparing for our ER visa application appointment in the NYC consulate and have a question regarding the passport photos we are required to bring.

The NYC consulate RESIDENCY VISA REQUIREMENTS web page calls for:
"Passport-style photo (3,5 cm x 4,5 cm or 1''3/8 x 1''3/4, full front and white background);"

However, when I look up places where you can get passport photos they all say that a US standard-issue, US government compliant, etc.. passport photo is 2 inches by 2 inches. (e.g., Staples, CVS, Wallgreen's, etc)

I'm sure this sounds like such a nit, but I don't want to have something silly like this screw up our application. Has everyone who has gone through this process simply brought in a 2 inch by 2 inch photo?
