Living in Italy, where best for a single woman to live near the sea ? Nothing too expensive or too urban, but nearish transport links like train.

Hello,
I would love to live near or actually by the sea in italy. Nothing too expensive or too urban, but nearish transport links like train. I spent childhoods in Sicily and a spell in Milan as an arts graduate - more recently I have loved Levanto in Liguria for holidays.
Does anyone one have recommendations, costs (would need to be not too expensive) and transport links are important - train mainly as I don't fly usually.
Where would be a single woman friendly place to live and culturally easy to be - have mores changed over the last 20 years as far as woman are concerned ?
I will stop asking questions for now, but interested to hear from people who have made the move from somewhere like London (where I live in Peckham - very multicultural and vibrant) to Italy.
Many thanks,
Best Wishes,
Georgina
