Pet Travel from Italy to England - permanent relocation

1. My cat's microchip was inserted and registered in the UK. Will Italian systems be able to read it?

2 Have you experience of using the Animal Health Certificate to support travel back to the UK? Where do you get the Certificate Reference Number from?

3 Have you taken a pet to ASL5 in La Spezia? How did you get an appointment? We've been to the offices, called and emailed and haven't been able to get an appointment.

4 I would prefer that he is driven back to England (ie. no plane). Is there a pet transport firm you've used and would recommend. He's an older cat and doesn't enjoy travel. Were you able to travel with your animal?
