Experiences with Italian private schools?

Our daughter went to Nido in Italy. Then, we moved back to the U.S.. She has since forgotten how to speak Italian. As we contemplate moving back to Italy, our main priority is our daughter's education. We are looking at a year or two or private/international school, before letting her choose a public liceo or stay in the private system.

Any experiences worth sharing about the international schools?

From discussions with friends in Rome, I sense the Rome schools are great experiences. But I am more interested in schools in the regional capitols (ex. Siena, Torino, Bologna, Treviso, etc...)?

Thanks.
