Banking in the UK?

I am living in Jamaica, but have a bank account in UK (for rental income, mortgage and share purchase in GBP). This recently seems to be cause all sorts of problems - I'm not sure why - have rules recently changed??? Looking to switch.
I prefer to do online banking - can anyone recommend a digital bank? I looked at Cashplus Bank, only to find that the app cannot be downloaded in Jamaica!
