Hi all- Best of luck with your move to Japan. I spent nine years there myself- different from the USA but quite interesting. My wife recently inherited a house in Shibasaki- on the Keio line about 25 minutes west of Shinjuku. It's quite spacious by Japanese standards- about 100 sq. meters, mostly furnished, 2nd. floor is available- Kitchen, Dining/Living, bath, laundry, bedroom about 125 sq. ft. and a monster room of about 350 sq. ft. that could be converted to two bedrooms. There's a little land for a garden and it's a 7 minute walk to Shibasaki station. It's close to the American School in Japan and a quaint shopping area is a few blocks walk. My wife's sister's family lives right next door and will be available to help.

One or two year renewable lease offered $2,500 mo.
