1. Are there educational programs in Japan, such as courses and seminar for retirees who are not necessarily expats, but who are willing to spend a couple of months at a time? (I know and have taken language courses at several locations. More interested in history, culture, architecture and such.)
2. Are there volunteer opportunities for bilingual tourists (Japanese & English or other languages), where one can work and interact with locals even if on a 1-2 day/week basis?
