Moving to Aktau

I am preparing to move to Aktau. I am supposed to work for an oil company. I will get a company car and a furnished appartment. I am going to have my first child in early November 2008 but my wife and my daughter will accompany me there in march 2009.
can anybody forward me some information about Aktau, its attractions, festivals, shops , supermarkets and whatever is required for a family life.
