Looking for apartment/room - short term, Gigiri or Westlands

Hi I'm undertaking a short term placement with the UNEP (3 months). I'm looking for a guest house, apartment or to share an apartment in the Gigiri or Westlands area, from 7 October to 28 December.
Budget is an issue, and I'm hoping manage for between 30,000 to 35,000 Kshs a month.
Also, if I can't organsie accommodation before I leave, does anyone has any suggestions on where to stay initially when I arrive?
