I’m a German student (25 years, male) looking for an accommodation in Nairobi during an internship for two months - February + March 2012 - near university - medical school.
Most important thing would be to live together with other students/ young people (international or local). So flatshare/houseshare or some sort of guesthouse for long-term-stays would be great. Max. price would be 35.000 KSh per month.
I know, this is a bit in advance, but I'd be grateful for any tips.
Btw. does anybody have any experience about:
YMCA Central Branch
They also provide cheep rooms for long term stays, but I’m afraid, they don’t provide any common facilities for the long-term residents (kitchen etc.) as well as alcohol is restricted...
“Ngufami House” or “Muringa Court Apartments”
Are they also an option for interns or are they more or less geared to tourists?
