Hi everyone,
There's a chance that I may be offered a position at a university in Seoul and I wanted to know primarily how much it costs, roughly, to move there. I am *not* asking about cost of living, but the actual cost of moving all of our stuff. This may include moving two cars there. We don't have much furniture, but we do have some large electronic equipment and a lot of books. How much did it cost you to move, and what moving companies did you use?
I'm Korean-American, born and raised here, and my wife is a Euro-mix American. I have some knowledge of Korean whereas she does not at all. I'm concerned primarily about her happiness. Though she is excited about the possibility, she is rightfully a little nervous.
Also, we are quite healthy in our diet and I was wondering if there was an equivalent of something like a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's in Seoul.
Thanks for your time.
best,
Modus
