I can do this in Cambodia and I am in Phnom Penh at the moment, still juggling whether I want to live here or not. There is a Korean Mart at Sorya shopping mall and I can watch KBS World on the cable! And of course there're lots of local goodies too. Mama's buns are good! :D
Cambodia is easy to move into. All what is required is a $290 1-year multiple-entry visa and then you just live on with your money or you work. In my case we sold great grandfather's land, so are there any ways for me to live in korea? I'm a slovenian citizen and not a native english speaker, so no english teaching jobs but what about learning korean in korea? Taiwan has mandarin language courses and if you study for more than 1 semester, you can get some sort of residency and that's what I need. I need to get residency if I want to cancel permanent residency in Slovenia, otherwise I can't and then it's pointless paying the rent to maintain it if I'm abroad.
So what can I do? I don't have enough to become an investor but more than enough to live comfortably for a while or even study something. If I can pick any job, then a paramedic would be nice. The pay doesn't matters, I live humble anyway. Any suggestions what I can do? Any way to move? Even if I have residence in Cambodia, I would still be satisfied if I at least study something in Korea or do something that can give me a visa, even if that means volunteering.
