Just arrived back from Africa and got the 3rd degree at customs! I brought over a box of crystals for a friend which got pulled apart & then they proceded to toss everything else out and around as well ...

These friggin 'Rabs think that just because you're an expat that they can treat you how they like ..
And I've heard the same from a few others returning after new year - is this a new policy, or they more miffed than usual at the fact that their so called islamic society is steadily adopting bad habits with the influx of illicit alcohol, drugs and (hmmpffgg) witchcraft ??
Reading the Kuwait Times is a laff a minute with the descriptions of intoxication and sorcery, but there is something really disfunctional with things if you adopt a general brush-stroke across an entire culture - as I am doing now - wait - let me take that back - not 'Rabs - Q8 'Rabs - as I don't get the same treatment in Dubai so should limit my rant to these local half breeds ..
