Medical consultant post

Hello, I'm thinking of accepting an offer for a consultant job in a private hospital in Kuwait. I appreciate this is a difficult question to ask, but how does one gauge how much to negotiate for in the package? People often say horses for courses, and do the maths for how much you take home tax free, but at the end of the day there must be some yardstick. I'm a UK CCT holder (specialist accreditation) with over 20 years' experience as a doctor. The offer is about $4000 kd which includes allowances for transport and accommodation. Any advice on how to negotiate would be very much appreciated! Thank you.
