Today many people pay attention at violations of LGBT rights in Russia and this hurts because in Europe things are also very bad. I know it because I experienced humiliation and assaults in Lithuania. I live in Vilnius and when with my gay friends we go for a walk we are always attacked by neo-Nazis or LGBT-haters. Recently a friend of mine was badly beaten by skinheads and doctors at hospital when they learned that my friend is gay became disparaging like he is not human. That is very sad because our politicians speak about Lithuania like it's a true European state but we can't organize a peaceful pride parade because it always accompanied by provocations on the part of neo-Nazis and I believe authorities also are involved because they allow neo-Nazi marches and even participate in the process with speeches full of hatred towards LGBT individuals, national minorities, especially Jews, and everyone who doesn't fit their Fascist notion of Lithuania's future...
