Internship

Could someone please help.

I recently was offered an 8 month internship in Luxembourg city with an American bank.I have no idea weather or not i should take it.The pay is quite low (1500€ a month) will i be able to afford accommodation,food and socialising ? what is the accommodation situation like in Luxembourg city.What is the Irish expat community like there for someone who is not a big GAA fan?
