Teaching in Malaysia...KL?

Hello...

I am looking at applying for jobs at the International Schools in and around Kuala Lumpur: specifically, International School of Kuala Lumpur.

My question is this - what is it like to live in Kuala Lumpur? I have been warned (by people who have not lived there of course) that it is a dirty polluted city. Is this the case? I have small children.

Is there a difference between living in central Kuala Lumpur and outside the city?

Any insigt on the schools, or the city or living in KL in general would be GREATLY appreciated!
