Making the jump ti NZ from the UK

Hi everyone I’m looking for help/advise from people who have or are moving to NZ from the uk.

I suppose the fort question is do you like it?

Any regrets?

Is there any downsides to the move?

I’m a plumbing and heating engineer in the uk and my partner is a restaurant manger, we have 2 daughters 6 and 3 months old.

The main reasons for us wanting to move is a better outdoors lifestyle with a better climate than the uk.

Also the state that the uk is terrible and I can’t see things improving any time soon so I’d like to give my daughters a good upbringing with opportunities in the future
