repatriating dollars

Howdy all, I'm new here. I've been travelling back and forth between the US and MEX for years, and interested to know what's the best way of repatriating USD to the US? Everything I find is based on sending or spending money in MEX, but how does one move money back the other way (north of the border)? For example if i sell my house, it's a sizeable amount. Or if I come with cash, and decide I don't want to travel with it. Opening a USD denominated account here is available on the border only (I'm in GDL). Your feedback is appreciated!
