Helping kids accept move

Hi all, I am so glad to have found this forum. My spouse and I are planning on relocating from Texas to Ensenada in Summer of 2024.

We have 3 children currently aged 16, 10 & 8. When we move our oldest will be 18, graduated and we are planning to send him to university. That thought is a bit intimidating for him being that he is not fluent in Spanish.

We have discussed the idea of moving with them before and it has been meet with some resistance. I get it, its hard to move, away from friends and everything your used to.

Do any of you have advice on how to help my children come around to the idea of moving and disspell some of their pre-conceived notions and fears?
TIA
