In-country timeframe for receiving residency card

Hello all,

New member and first post. My wife and I just recently got our permanent residency visas at a consulate in the US. As we understand it, we'll now travel to Mexico and make an appointment at an immigration office to get our residency cards. This trip won't be the relocation trip, so we're trying to determine how long we need to budget to stay in order to get the appointment and get the cards. Does anyone know how long that process might take? Merida is our destination.
