Driving a cargo trailer to Playa Del Carmen and import our tow vehicle and motorcycle with 4 year temporary residency.

My wife and I are in Playa Del Carmen and have just received our 4-year temporary residency after which we will obtain a permanent residency. We own a house here in Mexico and are planning to drive a small load of personal items to Mexico early this fall within our 6-month duty free import window.

We likely could fill up a mid-size cargo trailer in Vancouver Canada with our personal possessions. We would like to find the best route to Playa Del Carmen and import our older Escalade, cargo trailer, and motorcycle (in the trailer). We understand that each of us can import one vehicle and that the cargo trailer is grouped with the tow vehicle. We also understand that the Motorcycle is not part of the duty free personal items.

We have a 65 in tv, several receivers, speaker sets, subwoofers, desktop computer, printer, digital piano, coffee table, 1 each of kitchen appliances, 2 electric bicycles, 650 Suzuki Burgman, several power tools, hand tools, compound miter saw, guitar, sewing machine...etc.

Which is the best and safest route to take these goods through Mexico to Playa from Vancouver? Is it worth driving them down instead of selling everything and repurchasing the items in Mexico? Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
