Water issues in Ensenada

I am intereted in moving to Ensenada. I currently live in Florida. I am concerned about recent water issues. If the water supply is not limited, what other areas (other than southern MX) should we consider? I would be interested in input from those who live in other areas (northern) of Mexico that expats live.
