Sayulita

My husband and I are considering making a permanent move to Sayulita. We have a 4 year old, 2 nine year olds and a 21 year old. I have so many questions. We will need a car to travel from Sayulita to PV atleast twice a month. If we bring our personal vehicle to move there, do we need to sell it there or find someone to drive it back to the US? And as a temporary resident, can we buy a Mexican car for those trips to PV?
