San Felipe and Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point)

In reading all of the posts on this forum, I've noticed that they are mainly for more central and southern Mexico as well as the west coast - TJ, Rosereta and Encinata. Nothing for the "drivable" areas closer to the US border like both San Felipe and Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point).

I've found several FB forums for both. But have not been able to connect with any locals for more personal insightes. Any suggestions?

Are there any attendees of this forum who can tell me more about these "drivable" areas?

I'll be in San Felipe for four days - 9/24 - 9/27 - looking at that area for possibly a second home. I'll be in Puerto Penasco in mid-October.
