Hi, has anyone driven to Merida, Yucatan or are planning to soon? We are going on about a week with our dog. We know to go by day on toll roads. Wondering about the Piedras Negras crossing and pet friendly hotels. I got the TIP paperwork from the Mex. Consulate and had to put crossing place and date. Can I cross anywhere on a different day or is it written on stone? Any info would be great.
