Cannabis Access

I am more than a little confused about the availability of cannabis in San Miguel. I do understand that Mexico is in a transition period with anticipated legalization of recreational cannabis in the nearer future.

In the meantime, we use cannabis both medicinally and recreationally.

Exploration on the internet seems to reveal that cannabis can be easily obtained on the "grey market" in San Miguel or that there are cafes and bars where cannabis is more acceptable and these establishments can connect one to the grey market.

Can someone break all this down for individuals use to living in states where recreational and medicinal cannabis is immediately available?
