Despite months of research...forums,blogs,other websites, its hard to really find some things out, often because posts arent dated...so impossible to know if info is current or outdated. Its also true that every opinion is personal and one man's meat is another man's poison...so everything is relative!
I accept all that! But...
My husband and I are hoping to move from PV to northern Mexico later this year, a major reason being he has serious health problems and we want to be closer to a VA (in Arizona maybe?) We know the climate is not ideal for us up there...hot, humid etc....but we can cope. Ideally we want somewhere where there is an expat community (doesn't have to be huge) where the water problems are manageable (no salt water showers etc that Ive read about it some places!) And of course safe! Maybe even a retirement community somewhere...we're old! 65 &70...if there's a place in a pocket with a better climate, so much the better.
