Hi everyone! I’m in the middle of a situation and was hoping that one of you might have some expertise or advice that you’d be willing to share.
My son currently has a one year temporal visa and a one year vehicle Temporary Import Permit. He’ll be getting a three year renewal on his visa soon and we’re looking at options for renewing the TIP that don’t require him to drive all the way back to exchange for a new TIP at the US border.
Does anyone have any experience with the TIP extension process at Aduana? I’ve been doing research and come across a lot of inconsistent. The closest office to me is Aduana in Progresso, Yucatan so I would really appreciate any insight from anyone who’s done business there, or knows of any facilitators that can help with this process.
