Ensenada Water Availability

My husband & I plan to travel to northern Mexico in a few months to find a home. However we have concerns on water availability in the future.

We have been researching on whether neighborhoods have a desalination plant but we find no information online. The most recent post I found was related to a plant that was to be built for the benefit of Arizona. However, it seems the project was never completed (?) and unsure if it would have benefited residents in northern Mexico.

Any updated info on this issue would be greatly appreicated.
